Guide for Vendors: Sandy's 6 Tips for a Successful Shop Small Open House Weekend

This year as we come upon the holiday season, we have decided to make Small Business Saturday a 3 day event! We will be having our After Hours Shopping on Saturday from 6 until 9 and the entire weekend will be our Holiday Open House!

What should you do??

1. Stop in before Thanksgiving and freshen up your space. Bring in new items, add some sparkle with Christmas lights, garland and holiday.

2. This weekend is a REQUIRED sale, Please let us know what % discount you plan to offer. If we don’t hear from you, we will put a 10% sale in your space for the 3 days.

   REPLY to this email with your percentage off, or let us know in person no later than November 20th.

3. If you can be here on Saturday between 5 and 9, you can party with us and be present for customers to meet you and for you to possibly encourage more purchases of your items.

4. Bring family and friends! Parties are more fun with people you like! At the very minimum, tell them about our event and extended hours on Small Business Saturday. (This is the perfect chance to show off your hard work to out-of-towners!)

5. If you’d like, you can donate a batch of homemade cookies by Friday the 29th as we will have them available for customers for the entire weekend.

6. RSVP “GOING” to the Facebook Event, share the event on your personal page, group pages, and community pages. Consider sending the Facebook invite to your FB friends and family. We’re proud of you and they should be too!

Open House Weekend

Rusty Crown by Crown Antique Mall is excited to announce an Open House and Store-wide Sale in celebration of Small Business Saturday on November 30th. Customers can enjoy browsing our vast collection of unique antiques, collectibles, handmade treasures, and more during our extended hours on Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm. Take advantage of special discounts throughout the store and discover one-of-a-kind gifts for the holiday season. Our knowledgeable staff will be on hand to assist you in finding the perfect items to add to your collection or home. We encourage everyone to shop small this holiday season and support local businesses like the Rusty Crown.

Marketplace News + Winter Hours!

NEW WINTER HOURS AT THE MARKETPLACE BY CROWN ANTIQUE MALL

As the winter season sets in, we are excited to announce our new daily hours at The Marketplace by Crown Antique Mall! Starting from January 15, 2024 we will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Mondays through Fridays. Additionally, we will be open from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays. Embrace the cozy winter months by immersing yourself in the timeless appeal of antiques and vintage finds at our charming, new storefront at 63 E Fayette St.

Re-open on Jan 18 @ 10 AM

It’s gonna get cold. Like really cold. We’re still waiting on Columbia Gas to set the gas meters and even though we’ve been upgraded to “emergency status” we don’t have a date set in stone for getting the heat turned on. If we are able to be open those days, we will let you know, but for now our plan is to stay warm during the cold spell. We’ll see you when it warms up a bit on Wednesday!
