Hello Marketplace Vendors!

Our first day of booth selection went astronomically well! We couldn’t be happier with all the excitement and positivity you all brought to the first day of booth selection. There’s still a lot of amazing spaces available for vendors to choose! We’ve found additional times for booth selection and for moving in to begin.

AFTER YOUR NEW CONTRACT IS SIGNED, you may begin moving in to your space.

Selection & Move-In Times:

  • Saturday, December 16— 10 am - 2 pm

  • Monday, December 18— 10 am - 2 pm

  • Wednesday, December 20— 2 pm - 7 pm

  • Saturday, December 23— 10 am - 2 pm

OPEN MOVE BEGINS DECEMBER 26 and EVERYTHING MUST BE OUT ON DECEMBER 31!

  • Open move days will have a staff member at each location so that you can make as many trips to and from each store as needed.

  • Moving hours will be from 10 am - 7 pm each day.

  • There are limited carts, dollies, furniture movers, etc. so — please be kind and share these items as needed.

  • Please bring boxes and packing materials for you items. We do have some packing items available but nowhere near enough for everyone.

  • Running water will not be available at Uniontown Mall beginning on December 29th. Running water and bathrooms are available at the Marketplace.

BOOTH SELECTION AWAITS!!!!

We are thrilled to announce that, after weeks of planning and preparations, we have finally reached a significant milestone in our relocation process - vendors can now personally select their spaces at our new location!

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Each space has a note card with a booth number written on it. The monthly rental price is written on the note card.

  • When you have selected your space(s), we’ll have you sign the note card and turn it to staff on site at the Marketplace on E. Fayette St.

  • By turning the note card, this will allow us time to get your new contract typed up and ready for you to sign.

  • Contracts will be available at the store at Uniontown Mall for you to sign. Once your new contract is signed, you may begin moving in to your space as time and staffing allows.

WHEN IT IS:

  • Our first selection day will be THIS THURSDAY DECEMBER 14th from 10 AM until 12 PM.

  • Our second selection day will be THIS SATURDAY DECEMBER 16th from 10 AM until 4 PM.

  • MORE DATES AND TIMES TO BE ANNOUNCED, ASAP.

We are still awaiting an occupancy permit and we still don’t have heat in the building— so please dress warmly when you come to select a space. Apparently, Columbia Gas waiting to get a permit from the City of Uniontown in order to turn the gas on— so we’re at the mercy of the slow gears of government right now. As soon as that happens, I’m told everything else should be good to go!

I’m sure there will be lots of questions and we will do our best to answer them. We want you to have as much time as possible to get moved into the space. Email us if you have a specific question and we’ll try to help as best we can!

Hello Uniontown Vendors!

We’ve been a bit delayed as a new gas line is installed to 65 E Fayette St. We are working with the landlord to ensure that we are still set to open on time. We aren’t anticipating having to push our last day at Uniontown Mall or our First Day at 65 E Fayette St. If anything changes, we’ll let you know as soon as possible. At this time, we will not be able to have vendor space selection at the new location until after December 1, 2023. If you have any questions, we’ll try to answer them for you asap. Thank you for your patience as we make this change.

Hello Pittsburgh Vendors-

We are set to begin opening on weekends in December. We are absolutely thrilled that you have decided to join us on this exciting new venture. We’ve hired a store manager and are still looking for 1-2 key holders. If you know anyone who might be a good fit, let us know or have them apply at crownantiquemall.com

Also, spaces are filling up fast, but with 75 total spaces, we still need more vendors! Please help us spread the word and the excitement in anyway you can. We appreciate you all very much!

Updated Crown Antique Mall Time Line

We’ve had a lot of questions and not as many answers about the move. Hopefully this email will help clarify some things for you.

Below is a timeline of when things are happening at Crown Antique Mall:

  • MID NOV - LOOK for EMAIL INVITE to visit our new location at 65 E. Fayette St — Open House for vendors to explore and select a space

  • Nov 22- SHORT HOURS : 10 - 5

  • Nov 23- CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING

  • Nov 24 & 25 - Open 9 - 9

  • Fridays & Saturdays in December OPEN 10 am - 9 pm

  • EARLY DEC — LOOK for EMAIL for Moving Dates and Times TBA

  • Dec 24 - LAST DAY OF BUSINESS IN UNIONTOWN MALL

  • Dec 26th- 30th - OPEN MOVING DAYS

    • MALL STORE & FAYETTE ST. OPEN TO VENDORS ONLY

    • EVERYTHING OUT BY DECEMBER 30TH- NO EXCEPTIONS

  • Jan 2, 2024 - FIRST DAY OF BUSINESS AT 65 E. FAYETTE

Other FAQ’s

  • Will I need to sign a new contract?

    • Yes. Everyone will need to update their lease to reflect the change of address and any additional changes as necessary.

  • Will I need to get a new vendor number?

    • No. You will not be required to get a new vendor ID.

  • Will you have a new phone number?

    • No. We’re hopeful that we can transfer the number and see no issues.

  • Where do we park at the new store?

    • Parking is available along both sides of E. Fayette Street and there are approximately 15 parking spots behind the building in the alley way.

  • What happens if I can’t remove my items by December 30th?

    • Any vendors with items remaining will forfeit those items and be charged a disposal fee.

  • What if I decide not to come to 65 E Fayette St?

    • We will miss you but make sure everything is out by Dec 30th.

  • Will the store hours remain the same?

    • Yes. For the foreseeable future, store hours will be the same.

Christmas in July Sale @The Marketplace in Uniontown Mall

Hello Vendor,

For the first time ever, we’re celebrating Christmas in July! We’ll be running a 3-day SALE and we hope you’ll participate. This is a great opportunity to put your space on sale and move out merchandise. Here’s how it works:

  • JULY 21, 22, 23 are the SALE DAYS

  • EVERY ITEM (except sale or firm) will be a % discount off that you choose (normally we have a $10 min for sale items but we’re waving that for the first time ever)

  • Let us know your discount by phone, email, or in person by July 15th so we can get your sale signs printed and hung in your space.
