Guide for Vendors: Sandy's 6 Tips for a Successful Shop Small Open House Weekend

This year as we come upon the holiday season, we have decided to make Small Business Saturday a 3 day event! We will be having our After Hours Shopping on Saturday from 6 until 9 and the entire weekend will be our Holiday Open House!

What should you do??

  1. Stop in before Thanksgiving and freshen up your space. Bring in new items, add some sparkle with Christmas lights, garland and holiday.

  2. This weekend is a REQUIRED sale, Please let us know what % discount you plan to offer. If we don’t hear from you, we will put a 10% sale in your space for the 3 days.

    REPLY to this email with your percentage off, or let us know in person no later than November 20th.

  3. If you can be here on Saturday between 5 and 9, you can party with us and be present for customers to meet you and for you to possibly encourage more purchases of your items.

  4. Bring family and friends! Parties are more fun with people you like! At the very minimum, tell them about our event and extended hours on Small Business Saturday. (This is the perfect chance to show off your hard work to out-of-towners!)

  5. If you’d like, you can donate a batch of homemade cookies by Friday the 29th as we will have them available for customers for the entire weekend.

  6. RSVP “GOING” to the Facebook Event, share the event on your personal page, group pages, and community pages. Consider sending the Facebook invite to your FB friends and family. We’re proud of you and they should be too!
